About The Position
As a Machine Cleaner, you'll help keep Caterpillar's manufacturing equipment clean, safe, and ready for production. Your day will consist of removing metal chips and debris from machines, cleaning equipment, and helping keep the shop running smoothly. No extensive experience is required—we'll provide the training and PPE you need to work safely and succeed.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and stay active throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Remove metal chips and debris from machinery
- Clean and prepare equipment for production
- Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE
- Work alongside a supportive maintenance team
- Keep your work area clean and organized
