About The Position
This is a hands-on job where you can stay active and make an impact. As a Machine Cleaner, you will help keep Caterpillar's manufacturing equipment clean, safe, and ready for production. Your day will consist of removing metal chips and debris from machines, cleaning equipment, and helping keep the shop running smoothly. No extensive experience is required as training and PPE will be provided.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and stay active throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Remove metal chips and debris from machinery
- Clean and prepare equipment for production
- Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE
- Work alongside a supportive maintenance team
- Keep your work area clean and organized
