This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite to maximize safety, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The position involves lifting, packaging parts, and proper labeling. It requires issuing parts to Work Orders using the FIFO method and reporting completed lots for finished goods from injection molding. The operator will be responsible for meeting hourly/daily production targets, applying labels to finished products, migrating them to designated inventory areas, and organizing inventory within the department. Additionally, the role ensures machine hoppers are filled with correct parts, pulls assembly samples for the QC laboratory every 4 hours, performs visual inspections of parts, and ensures 5S & Housekeeping standards are met before, during, and after each shift. The operator must follow management systems, procedures, and work instructions, comply with all regulatory guidelines (OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA), and company policies. Flexibility to work in various departments according to the daily production plan and performing inspection activities on the production line as necessary are also key aspects of this role. Any other duties assigned by management will also be part of the responsibilities.
