About The Position

This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite to maximize safety, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The position involves lifting, packaging parts, and proper labeling. It requires issuing parts to Work Orders using the FIFO method and reporting completed lots for finished goods from injection molding. The operator will be responsible for meeting hourly/daily production targets, applying labels to finished products, migrating them to designated inventory areas, and organizing inventory within the department. Additionally, the role ensures machine hoppers are filled with correct parts, pulls assembly samples for the QC laboratory every 4 hours, performs visual inspections of parts, and ensures 5S & Housekeeping standards are met before, during, and after each shift. The operator must follow management systems, procedures, and work instructions, comply with all regulatory guidelines (OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA), and company policies. Flexibility to work in various departments according to the daily production plan and performing inspection activities on the production line as necessary are also key aspects of this role. Any other duties assigned by management will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D required.

Responsibilities

  • Lifting, packaging parts and labelling properly.
  • Issue parts to LN Work Orders using the FIFO (First in First Out) method.
  • Reporting Lots Complete on the FG parts coming from injection mold.
  • Meeting the hourly/daily production target on each machine.
  • Apply labels to finished product and migrating them to their designated area of inventory.
  • Rotating and organizing inventory inside department.
  • Ensure that the machine hoppers stayed filled with correct parts.
  • Pull Assembly samples for the QC laboratory every 4 hours.
  • Visual inspection of parts
  • Ensure 5S & Housekeeping is conducted before, during and after each shift.
  • Follow management Systems, Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Comply with all OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA and other regulatory guidelines and rules.
  • Comply with all Company Operations, Personnel, Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Flexibility to work in various departments according to daily production plan.
  • Perform inspection activities on production line as necessary.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
