About The Position
As a Machine Center Operator, you will produce precision components by running CNC and manual equipment to specification and supporting efficient, repeatable production.

Responsibilities
- CNC machine setup and fixturing
- Basic G and M code programming as needed
- Mastercam programming (preferred)
- Verifying programs, tooling, and fixtures prior to run
- Partnering with Quality to approve first-piece and start production
- Evaluating alternate setups and machining methods to improve efficiency
- Using precision measurement tools (calipers, ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, scales)
- Monitoring machine performance for issues such as worn tools
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Inspecting parts to blueprint, GD&T, and quality requirements
- Reviewing the day’s priorities and confirming prints and inspection expectations
- Verifying tooling and fixtures
- Checking dimensions at planned intervals
- Documenting results
- Making small, controlled adjustments to keep parts within tolerance
- Coordinating quick check-ins with Quality for approvals
- Communicating status updates to keep work moving
- Transitioning smoothly between tasks as jobs change over
- Keeping the area organized and equipment ready for the next run
