We have a current opening for 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am Machining Center Role As a Machine Center Operator, you will produce precision components by running CNC and manual equipment to specification and supporting efficient, repeatable production.

Responsibilities

CNC machine setup and fixturing
Basic G and M code programming as needed
Verifying programs, tooling, and fixtures prior to run
Partnering with Quality to approve first-piece and start production
Evaluating alternate setups and machining methods to improve efficiency
Using precision measurement tools (calipers, ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, scales)
Monitoring machine performance for issues such as worn tools
Performing preventive maintenance
Inspecting parts to blueprint, GD&T, and quality requirements
Reviewing the day’s priorities and confirming prints and inspection expectations
Verifying tooling and fixtures
Checking dimensions at planned intervals, documenting results, and making small, controlled adjustments to keep parts within tolerance
Coordinating quick check-ins with Quality for approvals
Communicating status updates to keep work moving
Transitioning smoothly between tasks as jobs change over
Keeping the area organized and equipment ready for the next run
