About The Position
This is an entry-level position responsible for operating filling and packaging equipment according to procedures. The role involves supervising activities on the production line, such as placing bottles on the line, manual palletizing, and other tasks assigned by the Team Lead. The shift is Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 - 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment; preferably automotive or bottling and packaging.
- Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
- Must have the ability to perform simple math calculations.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must possess the mandatory ability to react and move quickly in case of emergency.
Responsibilities
- Assists the lead operators on production line equipment efficiently while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards.
- Performs minor set-ups, cleaning, and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
- Accurately accounts for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.
- Recommends safety improvements as needed.
- Ensures all housekeeping and equipment standards are met.
- Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
- Other Duties as assigned.
