About The Position

The Machine Attendant is responsible for setting up and operating machines at the beginning of the shift, performing changeovers as needed. This role involves ensuring that machine forms and seals properly, and making adjustments as required based on product type and sealing issues. The attendant will also open machine-sealed products that were not sealed properly or were mislabeled, and return defective product back to the line. Additionally, the role includes re-feeding or changing forming and sealing film rolls, which can weigh up to 80 lbs.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude required to make machine adjustments
• Demonstrated attention to detail in product inspection and return of improperly sealed product and mislabeled product back to the line
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Repetitive grasping, wrist, and hand rotation required
• Must be able to lift 35-40LBS
• Must have good interpersonal skills and work well with others
• Maintain management standards

Responsibilities
