Requirements

  • Ability to take instruction
  • Understanding of Kanban/labelling requirements.
  • Ability to detect basic moulding defects such as sink, flash, etc.
  • No colour vision deficiency.
  • Excellent motor skills and dexterity.
  • Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function
  • Forms, Tags and Labels governing job function

Responsibilities

  • Operate a moulding machine, assembly machine or perform manual assembly duties in the most productive and efficient manner with due regard to safety.
  • Be accountable for the quality of the products produced at the work station.
  • Be present at the work station five minutes before the shift begins to assure a smooth transition.
  • Communicate with the incoming or outgoing shift to assure a smooth transition during shift change.
  • Read and understand the operator instructions at the workstation.
  • Ensure that the workstation is clean at all times.
