Requirements

Ability to take instruction
Understanding of Kanban/labelling requirements.
Ability to detect basic moulding defects such as sink, flash, etc.
No colour vision deficiency.
Excellent motor skills and dexterity.
Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function
Forms, Tags and Labels governing job function

Responsibilities

Operate a moulding machine, assembly machine or perform manual assembly duties in the most productive and efficient manner with due regard to safety.
Be accountable for the quality of the products produced at the work station.
Be present at the work station five minutes before the shift begins to assure a smooth transition.
Communicate with the incoming or outgoing shift to assure a smooth transition during shift change.
Read and understand the operator instructions at the workstation.
Ensure that the workstation is clean at all times.
