About The Position

Performs assigned MAC Program functions based on contractual duties. This role requires the ability to perform essential duties safely and satisfactorily, with other duties potentially assigned. The technician must comply with safety rules, stop at-risk behaviors, work collaboratively in a team, perform repetitive tasks, maintain a clean work area, follow company procedures, take direction, communicate professionally, and support shift leads. The role involves filling in during staff shortages in areas like custodial, recycle, or maintenance. A professional appearance and conduct, understanding of customer service, and familiarity with reporting systems and the environment are expected. The technician will operate motorized equipment, maintain assigned areas, read blueprints, perform office activities for the MAC program, stage items, and complete work assignments in a timely manner. Proper use and maintenance of chemicals, supplies, and equipment, including safety precautions like using "wet floor" signs, are crucial. The ability to work without normal supervision and report safety hazards is also required.

Requirements

No education requirement
6 mo-1 year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Bilingual a plus
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance.
Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks.
Present a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand customer service and satisfaction.
Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
Operates motorized equipment.
Maintains daily upkeep of assigned area.
Reads and implements blueprint and floor plan directions.
Performs office activities for MAC program.
Stages items for daily operations and large projects.
Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Use and maintain equipment properly.
Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely.
Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”.
Ability to work without normal supervision.
Reports safety hazards as appropriate.
