About The Position
Manhattan Beach Post is seeking a Maître D' or Lead Host to join its team. The restaurant, opened in April 2011, is part of Chef David LeFevre’s group of eclectic, chef-driven restaurants focused on soulful food, engaging service, handcrafted cocktails, and boutique wine selections. The role calls for someone passionate about hospitality and relationship building, with genuine kindness and a guest-first approach. Candidates should be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain grace and a positive demeanor in a busy restaurant. Humility, integrity, and respect are highly valued. The position involves four shifts per week across dinner and brunch shifts. Sunday availability is required. The job is listed as full-time or part-time, with an hourly salary range of $18.00–$25.00.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hosting experience in an upscale casual environment.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A guest-first approach, quick thinking, and grace under pressure.
- Humility, integrity, respect, passion for hospitality and relationship building, and genuine kindness.
- Sunday availability.

Responsibilities
