M365 Platform Engineer

TEKsystems•Appleton, WI
•$40 - $55•Remote

About The Position

The M365 Platform Engineer provides platform-level engineering, administration, and escalated support for Microsoft 365, addressing issues in Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure rather than end-user devices. The role supports a larger multi-tenant organization and handles escalations from the service desk, primarily involving Exchange Online and SharePoint, followed by Teams, Power Apps, and the Power Platform. The work also includes PowerShell-based operational tasks, governance and compliance awareness, and participation in migration and modernization efforts. This is a contract role through 2027. The engineer participates in an on-call rotation every other week and must be willing to respond to major incidents, including occasional night or weekend issues, which are generally related to Exchange Online. Work is capped at 40 hours per week; time worked outside core business hours is balanced with time off during the week. About 98% of the work is expected to take place during core business hours. The position is fully remote and based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.
