About The Position

This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies. In this role, you will serve as an advanced Microsoft 365 administrator responsible for owning complex service level issues, implementing platform wide configurations, and improving operational maturity across the M365 GCC environment. You will work independently on advanced troubleshooting, develop repeatable processes, and partner closely with Engineers on architecture driven initiatives. You will also mentor staff, guide operational standards, and ensure secure and reliable delivery of enterprise collaboration and identity services. This is accomplished in part by, but not limited to: Advanced Tenant & Service Engineering: Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 GCC services; including Exchange Online transport and routing scenarios, Teams/SharePoint cross service integrations, Conditional Access edge cases, and advanced identity lifecycle workflows. Escalation point for operational break/fix work requiring deeper analysis. Advanced Automation & Scripting: Build reusable automation for complex processes using PowerShell, Auto Pilot, Copilot, & Power Platform. Improve reliability, reduce manual workload, and expand operational intelligence. Identity & Access Management experience: Configure, monitor, and govern user setup processes and ongoing permissions with Entra, MFA, Conditional Access, and Windows Hello. Work to continually improve the user experience while achieving all security hardening requirements. Endpoint Management experience: Deploy and configure endpoint management systems such as hybrid-join, Intune, Defender, and Autopilot while optimizing how user computers and mobile devices are securely managed, with the goal of reducing operational overhead via automation. Cost Management, Compliance, & Licensing: Implement new cost governance policies, ensure cost controls are maintained, ensure compliance controls are maintained, and govern appropriate usage of all licenses as defined by architects and program leadership. Validate enforcement, remediate violations, and improve monitoring processes to reduce operational risk. Operational Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor technicians, guide best practices, review complex changes, and provide technical leadership in incident response and change planning.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of information systems experience in: Core Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) administration
  • An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in: Core Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) administration
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in: Core Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) administration
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience in: Core Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) administration
  • Experience in Core Microsoft 365 GCC administration must include establishing and configuring all aspects of Exchange Online for US government environments.
  • Submit a copy of all transcripts to receive credit for college degrees or coursework.
  • Transcripts must include name, coursework and indicate that a degree was obtained.
  • Complete I-9 documentation and confirm authorization to work in the United States.
