M/S Tele RN - 36hrs. Day Rotate and EOW

About The Position
This is a 36-hour position for a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. The role requires the ability to read telemetry strips and involves rotating shifts for days (between 7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a) and working every other weekend (EOW). Night positions are straight nights. The unit is Davenport 7, a 41-bed Medical Telemetry Unit with a patient population including Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, & GI. The clinician to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5 for days and 1 to 5/6 for evenings and nights. The charting system used is EPIC.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years working in one location
- Minimum of 2 years working as a Traveler
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- AHA Certified BLS
- Ability to read Tele Strips
Responsibilities
- Read Cardiac Telemetry Strips
- Administer Cardiac Drips
- Manage TR Bands
- Administer Hi-Flow Oxygen
- Float to applicable units when needed
- Work rotating shifts for days (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a) and every other weekend
- Work straight nights if applicable
