M&A Integration Lead (Transaction + Post-Close) - Pixis Drones

RedPeg MarketingAlexandria, VA
Remote

About The Position

Pixis Drones is building the national platform for programmable aerial media by executing a roll-up of top regional operators in the U.S. The Transaction and Integration Lead will own the execution of every Pixis acquisition, from financial diligence through the first 100 days post-close. This role is responsible for making acquisitions work by rebuilding founder-led financials, modeling deals, coordinating advisors, and managing the integration of acquired companies. This is a new function where the individual will build the playbook for M&A integration. The ideal candidate will combine financial execution, comfort with "founder-led messiness," and emotional intelligence to represent Pixis to acquired operators.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in M&A integration, transaction advisory, or post-merger operations.
  • Direct experience with small to mid-sized acquisitions in service-based or project-based industries.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Comfort rebuilding founder-led books from scratch.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional workstreams independently in a small-company environment with no existing support infrastructure.
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and judgment.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building a new function.

Nice To Haves

  • Big Four transaction advisory or mid-market PE operating background.
  • Experience integrating founder-led businesses where cultural sensitivity matters as much as financial execution.
  • Background in event production, entertainment, field services, or other operationally intensive industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial diligence on acquisition targets, including quality of earnings review, working capital analysis, and identification of add-backs.
  • Rebuild owner-operated financials from source documents into a defensible view of the business.
  • Build and maintain deal models scoring targets against the Pixis acquisition framework, including purchase price, earnout structures, and return scenarios.
  • Coordinate cross-functional diligence with external counsel, accountants, insurance brokers, and other third-party advisors.
  • Structure transactions, including purchase price, earnouts, employment agreements, working capital pegs, and reps and warranties, and support the CEO through negotiation and close.
  • Build and own a repeatable integration playbook with Day 1, 30, 60, and 100-day milestones across finance, operations, people, systems, and client handoff.
  • Consolidate acquired financials into Pixis reporting, stand up multi-entity reporting, close calendars, and chart of accounts alignment.
  • Track earnout obligations and underlying performance metrics, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Define and track revenue and cost synergies against deal-model assumptions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for acquired operators during transition, providing clarity, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Refine the diligence playbook, templates, and tooling after each close to ensure pipeline readiness.
  • Manage diligence on one target while integrating another.
  • Prepare investor updates and board materials related to acquisition activity.
  • Partner with the CEO and CFO-function on capital planning tied to the roll-up cadence.

Benefits

  • Full benefits package
  • Performance bonus tied to deal execution and integration milestones
