M&A Corporate Attorney
About The Position
We are seeking a top-notch M&A Corporate Attorney to lead our entire corporate team in our Long Island office. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $400K, plus equity and bonus. As the M&A Corporate Attorney, you will manage the corporate team, oversee all corporate matters, and provide legal counsel on mergers & acquisitions, general corporate, commercial, and corporate governance issues. You will lead strategic transactions such as partnerships, joint ventures, and restructurings, as well as lead due diligence teams, manage specialists, and draft transaction documents. This position requires providing a full range of legal services to private and public companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions, and collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and general corporate matters.
- Substantial experience in strategic transactions, including partnerships, joint ventures, and restructurings.
- Experience leading due diligence teams, managing specialists, and drafting transaction documents.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in New York.
