Corporate / M&A Associate Attorney
About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking a Corporate / M&A Associate Attorney to join its established Business practice in Chicago, Illinois. The role offers work on sophisticated transactions across a broad range of industries, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters. The associate will draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents, manage deal execution, and coordinate with clients and internal teams. The position includes direct client interaction and meaningful responsibility, with opportunities to work closely with experienced partners, build client relationships, and develop a long-term career within the firm's corporate practice.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of corporate and transactional experience, including M&A and/or venture capital transactions.
- Experience drafting and negotiating transactional agreements and corporate documents.
- Strong understanding of corporate transactions and deal execution.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Sound business judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with colleagues and clients.
