M&A and Private Equity Associate (Jr/Mid-Level)

About The Position

Ice Miller seeks a mid-level associate to join its M&A and private equity practice group in Indianapolis. The associate will work with middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyouts, and with family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs on sell-side M&A transactions. The role offers hands-on experience serving as a responsible attorney on M&A transactions and guiding clients through complex deals from start to finish. The associate will collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices, drawing on the resources of an AM Law 200 firm and working in a collegial, tight-knit office environment. Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
At least three years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
Active law license in Indiana.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and business judgment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
Strong law school credentials and references.
