About The Position

Morada Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family of operating companies, manages care- and lifestyle-focused senior living communities in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. The community is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in accordance with each client’s plan of care. Care includes comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, monitoring the client’s condition, health promotion and prevention, and coordination of services.

Requirements

Two years of LPN experience.
Two years of experience in assisted living or a nursing home.
Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective organization and time-management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
Dedication to seniors and their well-being.
Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in accordance with the client’s plan of care.
Conduct comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluations.
Monitor the client’s condition.
Support health promotion and prevention.
Coordinate services.
Help ensure the community follows federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to resident services and care.
