About The Position
The Crossings is seeking PRN Licensed Vocational Nurses for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living/Memory Support. The role serves older adults in a retirement community focused on maximizing residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual potential. Nurses are expected to provide courteous, professional, and respectful service to residents, families, and coworkers, take ownership of problems, and model MRC’s ICARE values: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing.
- Current Texas nursing license.
- Knowledge of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
- Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
Nice To Haves
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or medical/surgical nursing.
