About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Arlington, TX and surrounding areas. The company has been providing care to the medically fragile community since 2000, operating on values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. Nurses will provide direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home, focusing on their medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care. This includes conducting ongoing patient care and assessments, administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, coordinating care, educating family members on patient clinical care, and implementing preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care.

Requirements

Active RN or LPN/LVN license
Provide care in a client home setting
Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!

Responsibilities

Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
Coordination of care
Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
