About The Position

This position is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) working in PreOp, GI Circulator, or PACU. The role requires the ability to read and communicate effectively in English, with additional languages being preferred. The nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care, understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan. This includes assessing patient needs relative to their age-specific requirements and providing care according to center policies. The position also requires proficiency in the nursing process, effective communication, and the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients, coworkers, and other health professionals.

Requirements

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients in the center.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and provide the care needed as described in the center's policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skill of the nursing process.
• Demonstrates the ability to utilize and recognize channels of communication.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, coworkers, and other health professionals.
