About The Position

Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient clinic position. This role requires a specific set of skills and experience, including at least two years in internal or family medicine. Candidates must possess a California LVN license, BLS certification (AHA or ARC only), and experience with IVs and blood withdrawal. Previous travel experience is required, and first-time travelers will not be considered. Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV start skills, along with recent EPIC experience, is essential. A flu vaccination is mandatory, with no exemptions or declinations permitted.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in internal or family medicine.
• Valid CA LVN license.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• IV and Blood withdrawal certification/experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• IV start skills.
• Recent EPIC experience.
• Active license at the time of submission.
• Must have received flu vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Administering patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Performing phlebotomy and IV start procedures.
• Assisting with patient assessments and treatments.
• Documenting patient information and care in EPIC.
• Working weekend hours as required.
• Floating to different areas of the clinic as needed.
