About The Position

This position is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves direct patient care, appointment scheduling, patient registration, and utilizing the Epic electronic health record system. The schedule requires flexibility, with shifts between 0700-1900, and weekend work is mandatory.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in internal or family medicine.
• Active CA LVN license.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• IV and Blood withdrawal certification.
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations/exemptions).
• Travel experience required (no first-time travelers).
• Phlebotomy and IV start skills.
• 1 year of recent Epic experience.
• Ability to type 40-45 WPM.
• Active license at time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform appointment scheduling and patient registration.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient records.
• Administer IVs and perform blood withdrawals.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Float to other areas as needed.
