LVN / LPN - Outpatient Clinic
About The Position
This is an outpatient clinic position for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The schedule involves 5x8 hour shifts within the timeframe of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in ambulatory and pediatrics is necessary. The nurse will be expected to complete competencies including, but not limited to, rooming patients, administering injections, performing EKGs, taking nasopharyngeal swabs, measuring blood pressure, and performing ear flushes. Strong communication skills, adaptability, willingness to work with others, dependability, and punctuality are essential.
Requirements
- Valid LVN or LPN license.
- BLS certification required.
- 1 year of experience required.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Completed Competencies to include but not limited to Rooming/Injections/EKG/Nasopharyngeal Swabs/Blood Pressure/Ear Flushes.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Adaptable and willingness to work with others.
- Dependable.
- Punctual.
- Ambulatory and Peds experience.

Responsibilities
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Perform ear flushes.
- Float to all Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/Pediatrics locations as needed.
