About The Position
This position is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves drawing blood from patients in a high-volume clinic environment. The nurse will also be required to float to other Internal Medicine/Family Medicine clinics.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Valid CA LVN license.
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
- IV and Blood withdrawal certifications.
- Recent experience/expertise with venipuncture.
- Active CA LVN license at the time of submission.
Responsibilities
- Draw 1-5 vials of blood from every patient.
- Work in a high-volume clinic with over 100 patients per day and 15 providers.
- Float to other Internal Medicine/Family Medicine clinics as needed.
