About The Position

Monroe Hospital, a 32-bed community hospital in Bloomington, Indiana, and a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated LVN/LPN to join its medical-surgical team. The hospital is committed to providing superior healthcare with a focus on individual patient needs and has been recognized for patient safety. The LVN/LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to patient safety, comfort, and an improved patient experience.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire (state specific)

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
• Works in collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Maintains safety, provides patient comfort and care, and improves the overall patient experience in the medical surgical setting.
