About The Position

The LVN Clinic Supervisor renders professional nursing care within the current scope of practice to patients in support of medical care, as directed by medical staff and in accordance with hospital objectives and policies. The role organizes and coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines. Reporting to the coordinator, the supervisor interfaces with front-office and back-office staff to support patient flow in the clinic’s back office.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Six months of supervisory experience.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, or obtain it within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, JCAHO, state-funded programs, HMO, and Medi-Cal.
Bilingual in Spanish.
