LVN Charge Nurse
About The Position
Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN to participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the nurse’s licensure at Skilled Nursing at Oakwood Manor in Vidor, Texas. The role includes observing, assessing, and reporting patient conditions and changes; documenting care in accordance with company clinical policies and procedures and applicable state and federal guidelines; implementing directed care plans; administering prescribed medications and treatments; and helping assign duties and supervise CNA staff to support patients’ highest practical well-being. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid LVN/LPN (Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) license.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of LVN/LPN licensure.
- Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and changes.
- Document care in accordance with Cantex Clinical Policies & Procedures and state and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Complete EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, and changes in condition, in accordance with nursing practices.
- Ensure implementation of care plans as directed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in assigning duties and supervise CNA staff in delivering appropriate clinical care.
