About The Position

The Luxury Sales Manager leads and develops a team of Outbound (OB) sales representatives, driving revenue performance, coaching quality, and team engagement within Stauer's Luxury Sales Division. Before assuming direct management responsibility, the incumbent completes a full onboarding as a working sales representative, learning both the Inbound (IB) and Outbound (OB) sides of the business from the phones up. This working onboarding period is a required and non-negotiable component of the role, ensuring every manager leads with firsthand product knowledge, process fluency, and credibility on the sales floor.

Requirements

  • Prior sales leadership/management experience preferred; strong individual sales performers ready to step into leadership are also encouraged to apply
  • Willingness and ability to complete the full working onboarding described above before managing a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver direct, constructive coaching
  • Comfortable working with performance dashboards, KPI scorecards, and sales metrics
  • Ability to work in-office in Burnsville, MN

  • Experience in call center, luxury goods, jewelry, watches, or high-consideration retail sales preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete Stauer's Luxury Sales Academy training, including product knowledge, call scripts, and the BD Concierge sales process (Intro → Discovery → Transition → Soft Pitch → Soft Close → Overcome Objections → Follow Up)
  • Work as an active Outbound sales representative, carrying an individual book of business and being evaluated against standard rep-level KPIs (dials, contacts, talk time, close rate, AOV, sales mix)
  • Complete a rotation handling Inbound (IB) calls to understand how IB and OB motions complement one another
  • Demonstrate consistent performance against new-hire ramp benchmarks before transitioning into a management role
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Outbound sales representatives to meet individual and department revenue goals
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions using KPI scorecards covering dials, contacts, talk time, close rate, net AOV, and sales mix
  • Own daily and weekly performance tracking, leaderboards, and pacing updates against team targets
  • Reinforce sales process, product knowledge, and objection handling on the floor in real time
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new representatives
  • Identify performance gaps early and manage the appropriate response, from informal coaching plans through formal performance management
  • Partner with peer managers and the VP, Luxury Sales on team strategy, incentive programs, and department initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching, performance reviews, and team metrics
