About The Position
Vanguard Classical School is seeking a part-time Lunchroom/Recess Monitor to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping the minds of young learners by ensuring their safety and fostering a positive environment during lunch and recess. Requirements
- Must provide documented evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete the required criminal background clearance process.

Responsibilities
- Supervise students in the cafeteria and outdoor/indoor recess areas.
- Ensure student safety and enforce school rules and procedures.
- Encourage positive social interactions and help resolve minor conflicts.
- Assist students with lunch needs (e.g., opening containers, cleaning up).
- Maintain cleanliness in the lunchroom and playground areas.
- Monitor and report any incidents, injuries, or behavior issues to appropriate staff.
- Support school staff during transitions and emergencies.
- Serve as a role model for respectful and responsible behavior.
