About The Position

Freight Breakers LLC is hiring a full-time Lumper/Unloader for its furniture distribution operation in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves unloading furniture from inbound trailers and safely moving it into the warehouse. Work is physically demanding: furniture is large, bulky, and heavy, with many pieces weighing 50–100+ pounds. Employees spend most of the shift on their feet, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stacking, and maneuvering furniture. Trailers can become extremely hot, especially during the Florida summer.

The position operates Sunday through Tuesday, beginning at 5:00 AM and continuing until 5:00 PM or until the work is complete. Pay is production-based, with typical earning potential of $700–$900+ per week and the possibility for strong performers to earn more. Training is provided, and previous related experience is helpful but not required. The company offers full-time, year-round work and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Unload furniture from inbound trailers.
• Safely move heavy and oversized products.
• Load, stack, and stage furniture in designated areas.
