About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working yard worker to join the lumber yard team. The role involves organizing, loading, and unloading building materials, maintaining a clean and safe yard, and assisting customers and drivers with material handling. Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.

• Ability to take directions from others.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work productively outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Pull and safely and accurately load building materials into customers’ vehicles.
• Operate a forklift to unload delivery trucks, load customer vehicles, and load company delivery trucks.
• Stock freight in appropriate locations, including lumber, roofing materials, sacks of concrete goods, piping, railroad ties, fencing, and farm and ranch gates.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Comply with all safety standards.
