Requirements
- Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Ability to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
- May occasionally require the following activities: climbing, bending, reaching, lifting, twisting, standing, stooping, kneeling, finger/hand dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Responsibilities
- Work with supervisor and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
- Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Prepare boxes, foam-filled packing material and bubble wrap for packing drums.
- Learn AS400 system to ensure accuracy in material and labeling process.
- Ensure drums match correctly to serial numbers and other identification numbers on shipping labels.
- Pack drums securely to avoid shipping damage, recheck for label accuracy, seal, and place labels on box.
- Place on skid and transport via forklift to shipping.
- Requires ability to operate forklift meeting all safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
