About The Position
Responsible for safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites. This is a hands-on field role that supports overall jobsite productivity and crew operations.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class A or B)
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating dump/water trucks or similar
- Strong awareness of jobsite safety
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments
- Hazmat/Tanker experience
Responsibilities
- Drive and haul materials such as dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and construction debris using dump trucks, water trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Follow haul routes and production schedules.
- Assist with loading operations alongside field crews.
- Operate water trucks for dust control and compaction support.
- Support general jobsite tasks when not driving.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report mechanical issues, incidents, and safety concerns.
- Maintain clean and safe equipment.
- Communicate with foremen and dispatch.
- Stay aware of jobsite conditions and traffic.
- Support overall crew productivity.
