About The Position
The Lube & Tire Auto Technician performs vehicle maintenance assigned on repair orders, following dealership and factory standards for efficiency, accuracy, quality, and safety. The role builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in AutoNation's care for vehicle safety and reliability, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The technician communicates regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication, documents completed work on repair orders, stays current on factory technical bulletins, and participates in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Performance is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities to grow into other roles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that is maintained.
- Passion for cars and customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an express or quick lube technician is preferred.
