About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; hands-on instruction is provided through an award-winning training program. The role is located at 644 US 31 W Bypass, Bowling Green, KY 42101.

Requirements

• Have schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.
• Bring an eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team.
• Be able to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
• Be fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Be able to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
• Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service.
• Change oil.
• Check and refill fluids.
• Rotate tires.
• Test and replace batteries.
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Perform an 18-point safety check and other preventive maintenance services.
