About The Position

As an Entry-Level Lube Technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, you will work with a friendly, collaborative team to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; hands-on training is provided through an award-winning training program. The position is part-time and is located at 750 NW Eastman Pkwy, Gresham, OR 97030.

Requirements

Be flexible with scheduling; weekend availability is likely.
Have an eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team.
Be able to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Be fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Be able to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
Perform preventive maintenance services on vehicles, including changing oil; checking and refilling fluids; rotating tires; testing and replacing batteries; inspecting and replacing lights and wipers; and performing an 18-point safety check.
Complete other preventive maintenance services as needed.
