About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required. Employees receive hands-on training through an award-winning program to perform services such as oil changes, fluid checks and refills, tire rotations, battery testing and replacement, light and wiper inspection and replacement, and 18-point maintenance checks. The position is located at 446 E Broadway Blvd, Jefferson City, TN 37760. The role offers hands-on training and support, with the potential to become a Service Center Manager within 18–24 months. Team members need a positive attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a customer-focused approach. Weekend availability is likely; late-night hours and holidays are not worked. The work takes place in a non-climate-controlled environment and requires standing for up to eight hours, climbing stairs, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and working with hands above the head.

Requirements

Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking.

Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
Perform preventive maintenance services on vehicles.
Change oil.
Check and refill fluids.
