Entry-level Lube Tech/Technician
About The Position
Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; employees receive hands-on support through an award-winning training program. Training covers oil changes, checking and refilling fluids, tire rotations, battery testing and replacement, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, 18-point maintenance checks, and other preventive maintenance services. The role includes working in a non-climate-controlled environment and requires the physical ability to stand for up to eight hours, climb stairs, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Requirements
- Schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.
- Eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and interest in joining a customer-focused team.
- Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests.
