About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; hands-on training is provided through an award-winning training program. Training includes changing oil; checking and refilling fluids; rotating tires; testing and replacing batteries; inspecting and replacing lights and wipers; performing an 18-point maintenance check; and other preventive maintenance services. The role requires schedule flexibility, including likely weekend availability, while ensuring employees do not work late nights or holidays. Technicians work in a non-climate-controlled environment and must be able to stand for up to eight hours, climb stairs, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and crouch, bend, twist, and work with their hands above their head. The position is located at 1856 Warrensville Center Rd, South Euclid, OH 44121.

Requirements

Schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.

Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
