About The Position

The Lube Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of rental and leasing equipment by performing routine lubrication and maintenance services. This position ensures that all machinery and vehicles are properly serviced to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan, directly impacting customer satisfaction and company profitability. The Lube Tech will work closely with the maintenance team to identify potential mechanical issues early and support timely repairs. Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
  • Mechanical skills daily to perform precise lubrication and maintenance tasks that keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Attention to detail is critical when inspecting machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate into costly repairs.
  • Communication skills are important for effectively reporting maintenance needs and collaborating with the team to prioritize work.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar maintenance role within the rental or leasing industry.
  • Work experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations related to oil and lubricant disposal.
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lubrication, oil changes, and fluid checks on a variety of rental equipment and vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or mechanical issues and report findings to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all performed maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area and proper disposal of used oils and lubricants in compliance with environmental regulations.
