About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves performing routine lubrication, oil changes, and fluid checks on mobile and stationary equipment. The technician will also inspect equipment condition, report potential maintenance issues, and maintain accurate service and lubrication records. Supporting preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and adhering to safety procedures are key aspects of this position. This role operates primarily in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. The position is part of a unionized environment, and terms and conditions are governed by a collective agreement. Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely service industrial equipment
Attention to detail with a focus on preventative maintenance and reliability
Ability to follow procedures, checklists, and safety standards consistently
Team oriented approach with clear communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop technical maintenance skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check
