Ford Lube/Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Lube and Maintenance Technician to join their Service team at Kendall Ford of Eugene. This is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands and has an aptitude for mechanics. This role involves performing basic maintenance on service vehicles, including inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, balancing and rotating tires, performing vehicle inspections, and completing basic brake repairs. All work must be documented per manufacturer and Kendall standards. The technician must be able to operate a wide variety of vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions. Work is performed indoors in a shop environment. This is an entry-level position with no experience required.
Requirements
- Valid driver license
- Good driving record
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions
- Ability to work indoors in a shop environment
- Ability to use mechanic's hand and power tools
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Ability to push, pull, crouch, squat, reach, and kneel frequently
- Ability to lift, push, and pull weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally
