About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. The role uses the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare’s Mission and Vision Statements and functions within the scope of the LPN license and the organization’s policies and procedures. The LPN demonstrates professional growth and accountability, guides ancillary staff, and collaborates with other health care professionals to provide quality nursing care. The role combines compassion, caring, and appropriate technological competency to deliver holistic patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an LPN program.
- New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
- Current Georgia LPN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
