About The Position
BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to a client in the client’s home, with scheduling matched to the nurse’s preferences. BAYADA provides onboarding, paid orientation with virtual and hands-on training, and ongoing support.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, documented by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home according to a mutually selected schedule.
- Follow, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
