About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to a client in the client’s home, with a schedule selected by the nurse and matched to a client’s needs. Nurses receive paid orientation that includes virtual and hands-on training, along with onboarding support from the office team. The position includes following and documenting doctors’ orders, assessing and monitoring clients’ conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and education. Benefits vary according to employment type.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose, matched with a client.
Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
