About The Position

Promise Care in Nixa, Missouri, is hiring a full-time LPN to deliver quality resident care and support residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and medical needs. The LPN coordinates health care needs, evaluates and enhances program services, and provides care through the nursing process in accordance with state laws and regulations, federal and state standards, the state’s Scope of Practice, and the community’s philosophy. The role includes providing residents with personal care, support, supervision, and evaluation while promoting their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being. The LPN helps ensure resident safety and provides excellent service to residents and their families, tailoring care to individual needs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Prepare and administer medications in accordance with infection-control and safety guidelines.
Document care accurately in resident charts.
Receive and process physician orders.
Manage new admissions and discharges.
Make rounds to ensure residents’ safety and needs are met.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Coordinate residents’ health care needs.
Evaluate and enhance program services.
Provide personal care, support, supervision, and evaluation to residents.
Address residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being.
Follow the state’s Scope of Practice, applicable laws and regulations, federal and state standards, and the community’s philosophy.
