About The Position
The LPN provides nursing care for patients in cooperation with ancillary nursing personnel and other patient team members, maintaining standards of care in the clinical setting through use of the nursing process. This position is in the 4 South Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
Requirements
- Current licensure by the Louisiana Practical Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Responds to emergencies and monitors patient conditions.
- Performs timely assessments and documents care accurately.
- Follows physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Coordinates with the care team and maintains patient hygiene.
- Prioritizes tasks and ensures patient safety.
- Completes documentation and shift reports according to standards.
