About The Position

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide resident care as part of a team focused on excellence, teamwork, and professional growth. The role involves overseeing residents’ daily care, communicating changes in condition and care to residents and their families, collaborating with the Medical Director on resident health and care plans, and mentoring nursing assistants. The position is part-time or PRN, with an evening schedule and every-other-weekend availability required. The facility provides assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation, and ventilator care.

Requirements

• Hold an active Maryland LPN license.
• Be able to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Have availability for an evening schedule and every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residents’ daily care.
• Clearly and compassionately communicate changes in residents’ conditions and care to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to support residents’ health and care plans.
• Support, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to nursing assistants.
