About The Position

Cottagewood Senior Communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This role focuses on promoting the health and safety of residents through on-site visits and ensuring staff are trained in current medical procedures and policies. The LPN will also be responsible for maintaining facility compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will be able to interact professionally with residents, staff, and family members, possess a positive work attitude, and collaborate effectively with team members. The position involves 32-36 hours per week, with flexibility in weekday scheduling and working every other weekend. Requirements

  • Maintains a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse per state regulations.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using a resident record computerized system.
  • Experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the health and safety of all residents through on-site visits with residents and staff.
  • Ensure staff is trained in medical procedures and policies which are current and up to date.
  • Ensure that the facility is in compliance with current regulations and standards.
  • Relate professionally with residents, staff and family members.
